Yes. We can send you an RGA Form to complete. Then you can send your valve directly to Moog for inspection. Moog will then send Grimstad a Repair Report which we will forward to you along with the cost of the repair. The minimum cost for the inspection is $262.50.
Once the manifold is assembled it is connected to a pressure source the return connections are plumbed back to tank. Working ports are plugged and then pressurized by shifting the directional valves either manually or electrically such that all pressure paths get to see oil at system pressure. while this is being done, the unit is inspected for external leaks.
Metal work as standard sells the valves less coils in order to reduce the number of part numbers that must be inventoried. The part number on the “valve” is for the body with solenoid armature(s) less any coil(s). The coil will have it’s own part number stamped on the side. If the coil part number cannot be read, all we need is the voltage and a description of the electrical connection.
Grimstad does not typically do in house repairs. We do however work closely with our vendors and can arrange to have items sent in for factory repair.
Provide three credit references and a bank reference. If you have a document already prepared for opening new accounts, send that. We also need a tax exemption certificate if purchases are non-taxable. For setting up an account, provide bill-to address, contact, email address, phone/fax numbers. Provide ship-to address if different from bill-to.
Yes, $500 max for drop-ship orders, $1000 max shipping from Grimstad stock.
Standard payment terms are net 30. For large projects 30% due ARO. 30% due with design approval. 40% due with shipment.
Payment terms are 100% of invoice amount due 30 days after Seller's delivery.
